Proposal Manager
Essential Responsibilities:
1) Assemble and organize proposal teams, all authors and support personnel, and assigns specific responsibilities.
2) Develop and manage the proposal schedule to meet all milestones.
3) Develop and coordinate win strategies with appropriate Business Area Director.
4) Assemble, organize, and manages proposal preparation teams, plans and manage all required meetings, provides training and direction, assigns specific responsibilities, monitors performance of team members, and provides corrective action as required.
5) Identify and monitors requirements/expenditures for each proposal effort.
6) Facilitate proposal strategy sessions, drives proposal schedules and proactively designs innovative presentations and proposals in keeping with the overall company image campaign.
7) Coordinate development of pricing models and subcontracting plans.
8) Assess approval level for each submission and coordinate and conduct management team reviews.
9) Ensure preparation of proposals that meet or exceed all RFP and customer requirements.
10) Manage the proposal budget, resources, production staff and schedule
11) Obtain training and education necessary to meet or exceed current industry standards for development and production of proposals.
12) Identify key elements in RFPs that directly impact pricing, staffing, and/or elevated organizational risk.
13) Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
