Overview
Quality Focal Point Analyst (F35OO 2025-23959):
Bowhead seeks a Quality Focal Point Analyst to support the Radar Technology Division Quality Focal Point (QFP) Contract at NSWC Crane, IN. The QFP is a member of the division management team and should be included in strategic and operational discussions. The QFP is empowered to act on behalf of the division regarding Crane Management System (CMS) issues.
Responsibilities
Essential functions will include:
- Single point of contact on CMS matters for the Radar Technology Division.
- Commuicates quality policy matters to the division.
Coordinates and assists the division in responding to issues requiring corrective/preventive action and verifies implementation of that action.
Coordinates the response to incoming Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR) within the organization.
QFP assists in the coordination and scheduling of CMS evaluations of their respective organization.
Assists managers/supervisors and employees in the implementation of CMS elements, policy, and objectives.
QFP coordinates the OTN process with the organization per NSWCCRANEINST 4855.20 CALIBRATION PROGRAM AT NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER CRANE DIVISION. This includes interfacing between QSMs, Calibration Laboratory, the organization's equipment point of contact and organization managers to ensure OTNs are reviewed and the review results are documented regardless of the level of impact on the product or service.
The QFP advises others, as appropriate, in the preparation of project specific documentation.
The QFP performs at least one formal Division self-assessment of the QMS per year utilizing the NSWCCRANEINST 4855
The QFP achieves certification in accordance with NSWC Crane’s Quality Manual, NSWCCRANEINST 4855.1, within 18 months of being selected for the QFP position.
The QFP conducts and documents one formal Management Review per year of the CMS within the organization per section 9.3 of 4855.1. The Management Review of the division must be uploaded to the official repository for management reviews that is maintained by QMO. This repository is located on the iCrane SharePoint site, under NSWC Crane Orgs/ Command/ 00Q-Crane Mgmt System in the “Crane Division Self-Assessments and Management Reviews Repository folder.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or five (5) to eight (8) years of experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
