The Opportunity:
Exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Product Owner to lead the strategic direction, development, and optimization of our ServiceNow teams priorities across the platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with DHS federal stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements, conduct workshops to develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive continuous improvement of the platform to maximize business value.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow development team, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives. • Own the ServiceNow product roadmap, defining and prioritizing features, enhancements, and technical improvements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements to translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and other business units, to optimize ServiceNow solutions.
• Manage and maintain the ServiceNow backlog, ensuring clear definition, prioritization, and refinement of work items.
• Oversee the development lifecycle, from ideation through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Ensure ServiceNow configurations align with best practices, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.
• Provide guidance and support to end-users, promoting adoption and effective utilization of ServiceNow capabilities.
• Monitor team/delivery/product performance, analyze key metrics, and drive continuous improvements based on data insights.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including implementation, administration, or development.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM and SPM • Experience working with ServiceNow development teams, defining requirements, and delivering solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
Desired:
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise applications.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), PMP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and related tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps) is a plus
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices and service management principles.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving business and technology environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
