The Opportunity:
CACI, Inc is seeking a talented Senior CSfC Systems Engineer who is quickly deployable to customer locations across the USA and at Worldwide DoD installations. As a member of CACI Secure Networking and Compute Technical Service Delivery Team, you will be part of a national team of engineers supporting our customers remotely and/or at their premises during product deployment and operation phases of networking and networking security products. You will be assisting with the design and deployment of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Data Center Networks utilizing leading edge IT technologies. You will also be isolating and analyzing complex networking issues and providing solutions working with OEM vendors and customer’s teams. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Services Execution team that provides high level Engineering support Engineering and Implementation(E&I) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contracts. This position requires frequent travel to CONUS and OCONUS customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer business requirements and develop architecture & design documents for the customer.
- Develop and execute Proof of Concept and/or Deployment Acceptance test plan and test reports
- Develop implementation guide with configuration templates and deployment plan for the customers deploying data center networking products
- Execute and assist our Engineering Teams by executing complex deployment plans
- Resolve complex technical issues
- Analyze and report software and hardware defects
- Perform software and code upgrade assessments for the CSfC enclaves and assist or execute code upgrades.
- Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate complex problems
- Studies and analyzes system needs, system development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering.
- Works with the enterprise to solve business problems with technology including hardware, software, databases, operating systems, and networks. Designs and defines information technology (IT) system architecture for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise.
- Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.
- Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
- Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
- Assists in the development and management of an architecture governance process.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology combined with 5+ years of related experience or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) 6.x Data Center Virtualization (DCV) combined with 5+ years of related experience (preferred)
- High degree of expertise with Virtualization technologies specifically VMware
- High degree of expertise with VMware Server Virtualization, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Virtual SAN (vSAN) implementations, and vRealize Operations (vROPS)
- Solid operational experience utilizing Virtual Distributed vSwitches (VDS) and virtual networking technologies
- Experience with Ethernet switching, TCP/UDP protocols and common usage, and load balancing technologies
- Experience with deploying/or maintaining OEM products including Dell, EMC, Cisco, SonicWall, etc.
- Understanding of Data Center Architectures and design principles
- Experience with written technical documentation
- Experience in NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) or related Cross Domain technologies (AFRL SecureView, Forcepoint Trusted Thin Client, etc.)
- Highly experienced with U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community policies and protocol
- A Secret clearance is the minimum requirement to begin employment. Top Secret preferred and required for continued employment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
