Job Description:

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is hiring multiple Enterprise Architects to join our growing Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) Interface and Data Conversion Team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We are looking for Enterprise architecture modelers with knowledge to advise, capture, and implement business processes in Cameo and/or System Architect and develop road maps that can support interface development acceleration.

Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is required.

More About the Role:

  • Leads the enterprise application integration (EAI) strategy and platform (SOA, EDI, ETL, Data Virtualization) architecture spanning the interface and data conversion workstreams
  • Owns the Systems Engineering Process, set the Data Integration Vision and coordinates with Architectural Modeling Leads to ensure Information Exchange Requirements, To-Be process modeling, data flows and system process flows/event traces accurately reflect To-Be processes.
  • Lead the team of Integration Product Architects to drive enterprise integration strategy and architecture deliverables
  • Lead Technology Roadmap initiatives aimed at conveying the future roadmap for data integration
  • Steward of Integration standards and design patterns
  • Creates, maintains, and owns the enterprise integration canonical model
  • Leads the design of translator modules required to transform data into and from the canonical model format
  • Provides solution oversight to the Integration Designer & Integration Product Architects to ensure delivered design works with enterprise standards
  • Act as the Data Integration Architecture Representative on Technology Review Boards, IPTs and the Change Control Boards to ensure Data Integration concerns are considered
  • Leads Trade Studies, Analysis of Alternatives, Risk Analysis, Proof of Concepts, vendor and product selection initiatives
  • Perform the integration architecture assessments during Gate Reviews
  • Develop an expert understanding of the clients’ business processes, data needs required to define and develop solutions consistent with the client’s expectations.
  • Coordinate across multiple implementation efforts to ensure decisions are consistent across efforts.
  • Prepare meeting materials to facilitate customer discussions and perform data analysis.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Experience with Federal Financial Management and systems.
  • Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, and Agility.
  • Experience with DevSecOps and DataOps pipeline and CI/CD orchestration frameworks
  • Experience working with Momentum Financials front-end, database and the Momentum API.
  • Strong design and implementation experience with SOA, messaging, and Middleware technologies
  • Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR)

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with APIs and API design
  • Experience with EDI and EDI standards such as X12 and EDIFACT
  • Experience with Enterprise-Wide ETL tools such as Alteryx, Informatica etc.
  • 5-10 years of progressively responsible job-related experience
  • Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.
  • Self-starter. Quick to learn and put new skills to use.
  • Ability to handle efficiently and effectively multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. Flexibility to put in hours needed to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience supporting the development of interfaces and/or a large-scale data conversion.
  • Must have strong client leadership and engagement skills and the ability to lead conversations and influence decisions.
