The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled AI Engineer to lead the design and implementation of new AI capabilities for our enterprise web application.


Responsibilities:
You’ll be analyzing and implementing solutions using exciting technology to solve complex problems as you lead the AI efforts to enhance the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). The PIEE program provides a suite of 30+ acquisition modules (contracting, finance, logistics) designed to streamline electronic business transactions for over a million registered users.
As a Gen AI Developer, you will be at the forefront of our AI initiatives. You will lead the design, development, and integration of advanced AI features into our enterprise web application.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Requires advanced understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Typically has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field and minimum 7 years of related work experience.
• AI Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI objectives and strategies aligned with business goals.
• Model Development: Design, train, and deploy generative AI models tailored to our application’s needs.
• Integration: Seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into the existing web application architecture.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize AI model performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive AI solutions.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for AI models, algorithms, and implementation processes.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI and generative models to incorporate innovative solutions.
• Experience in AI development, with a focus on generative models.
• Proven experience leading AI projects from conception to deployment.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Java and other relevant programming languages.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500-$206,800
