The Opportunity:

CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Translation Coordinator, Journeyman. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partner PP&P located in Wiesbaden, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. This position is located OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Government Leads and Project Leads to identify requirements for translation services

  • Identifies and recommends translators with the required translation skills (e.g., English to Polish) to support translation of IT network and infrastructure technical documents

  • Assists with establishing translation vendor contracts and ensures translators are available when needed for on-time completion of translation requirements

  • Performs quality control checks of translation documents

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments

  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience 4-7 years with a BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered.

  • Possess a Secret clearance with the ability to retain.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in translation coordination for IT network and infrastructure technical documents, with emphasis on Government or military environments.

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of translation requirements analysis, collaborating effectively with Government Leads and Project Leads to identify and meet project needs.

  • Exhibits expertise in identifying and recommending skilled translators, particularly for specialized technical content, ensuring their availability for on-time completion of requirements.

  • Shows strategic capability in establishing and managing translation vendor contracts to meet project timelines and quality standards.

  • Displays advanced skills in performing quality control checks on translated documents and developing methodologies for multiple complex translation assignments.

  • Demonstrates ability to operate independently, presenting effective solutions to translation challenges across various projects with appreciable latitude.
