The Opportunity:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed Training Content Developer. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) department modernizing their Information Technology (IT) as a service model.

In this role, the Training Content Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging technical training materials and resources in support of Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) functions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for training, strong instructional design skills, and experience with content development tools and technologies.

You will leverage your expertise to advise on the use of common tools and methodologies across the program and will provide feedback on instructional design and course content to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of learners.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally - presenting products and ideas in a business-like manner.

The candidate will be required to work within dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and EIT system users.

Travel up to 25% is expected.


Responsibilities:

  • Join a high-performing, matrix-oriented OCM Training Team responsible for creating and implementing DAF-facing training strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage, drive faster implementation rates, and promote higher utilization of new enterprise IT products and services.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and learning objectives.
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive training content, including e-learning modules, presentations, manuals, and multimedia resources.
  • Utilize authoring tools and software to create and customize training materials that align with instructional strategies and adult learning principles.
  • Integrate multimedia elements, such as graphics, animations, videos, and simulations, to enhance the effectiveness of training content.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on developed content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and gather feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement and make necessary revisions.
  • Identify and offer improvements and enhancements to the training and development processes, analyses, and methodologies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in instructional design and content development.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
  • Work in parallel with technical teams and associated training efforts to remain current with the release of new tool functionality.
  • Proficiency in using authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or similar e-learning development platforms.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Experience with graphic design software and multimedia editing tools; primarily the Adobe software suite.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders within all levels.


Desired:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance (or higher) and be able to maintain.
  • ITIL V4 familiarization and understanding.
  • Experience of general and enterprise IT uses and services.
  • Experience working within ServiceNow environments and/or possess certifications.
  • •Experience creating/developing Computer-Based Training (CBT) courses and modules.
  • Training video authoring, editing and development; primarily using Adobe Premiere Pro and associated tools.
  • Experience delivering training as an instructor role; hands-on teaching coursework within classroom-like environments – both virtual and in-person.
  • Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) Certification, or similar.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
