Job Description:

The Opportunity:

Are you interested in continuing your career in Europe in a mission focused environment? CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Audio Visual (A/V) Engineer, Journeyman. This position is in support of EMITS 2 of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partner G33 MCSD, located in Wiesbaden, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. This position is located OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs, implements, and maintains video conferencing infrastructure, video conference endpoint, applications configurations, and video collaboration applications

  • Develops, tests, and implements Audio/Visual (A/V) solutions, including systems, networks, equipment, and software

  • Possesses and applies practical knowledge of A/V system design, configuration, programming, installation, troubleshooting, testing, and best practices

  • Possesses and applies practical knowledge of network topology, operating systems, and associated applications that pertain to the A/V environment

  • Supports activities to resolve incidents and problems, including workarounds to return A/V system availability and functionality

  • Supports accreditation for A/V systems and maintains systems in compliance with security requirements

  • Provides Biamp/ClearOne DSP programming and troubleshooting support

  • Supports development and maintenance of Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and SOPs for COP and CIP operations tailored to the MP environment

  • Ensures fidelity, accuracy, and timeliness of COP and CIP data

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments

  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Possess a Secret clearance with the ability to retain.

  • Experience 4-7 years with a BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered.

  • Certification – 8140 – CND or Network+

  • Possesses extensive knowledge of A/V systems, video conferencing infrastructure, and collaboration applications, including IT communication endpoints (e.g., VTC and mobile phones).

  • Demonstrates expertise in network topology, operating systems, and security compliance related to A/V environments.

  • Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex A/V solutions, including DSP programming. Shows mastery of Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) development, preferably for Command and Control operations.

  • Displays strong problem-solving skills for incident resolution and ensuring system availability.

  • Ensures compliance with security requirements and maintains fidelity, accuracy, and timeliness of COP and CIP data.

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently on multiple complex assignments while staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in the A/V field.

  • Provides extensive knowledge of operating systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud-based technologies. Demonstrates proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting command and control systems,

  • Common Operating Pictures, and Common Intelligence Pictures.

  • TESA eligible

Desired:

  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs

  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

  • Experience with DoD IT security requirements

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$57,000 - 116,800 USD
