The Opportunity:
- Leverage previous experience and communications with customer to implement a successfully operating department
- Work closely with the customer to create requirements and milestones
- Provide a environment where the candidate is able to to have full control over implementation
- Create professional working relationships with the user base of the new department and the leadership behind the department
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the customer to create requirements and milestones for success
- Independently provide supervision and mentoring to the Departmental Division Heads.
- Oversee the development and execution of a multi-million dollar departmental budget
- Oversee and execute Departmental staffing, hiring, reassignment and reorganization strategies.
- Excel at problem solving and creating solutions in environments where resources may be limited.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Have over 5 years of experience in a leadership department role
- Familiarity with how NAVSEA and their sister warfare centers operate
- Must excel at communicating and problem solving
- Must be able to multi-task as multiple projects, meetings and tasking will happen often.
- Must have at least a secret level security clearance

The proposed salary range for this position is:
