The Opportunity:
The desired candidate will work as an Oracle E-Business Suite Functional Analyst Expert (SME) in a Level 2 production support team, supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.10 production issues. The candidate will provide functional/technical Oracle expertise to analyze, solution, and support all aspects production related issues. Works closely with the Financial Management Office, Project Management Office and Defense Financial Accounting System SME’s daily to gather an understanding of current ticketed issues to support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for complex Oracle ERP issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical system problems that lower-level support tiers cannot solve
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues
- Create and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with Oracle support and Jira development teams for escalated issues
- Manage and prioritize multiple high-priority tickets simultaneously
- Provide guidance and mentorship to level 1 and 2 support staff
- Conduct regular system health checks and proactive maintenance
- Develop custom scripts in support of break fixes
- Stay updated on the latest Oracle ERP features, best practices, and industry trends
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support as needed
- Liaise between IT and business units to ensure alignment of Oracle ERP functionality with business needs
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting/finance or other Oracle EBS certification or relevant degree from an accredited university
- Ability to obtain a Favorable Public Trust suitability determination (CoPT) and U.S. Citizenship.
- Five plus Years of IT experience
- High level understanding of Federal Accounting
- Prior experience in the DOD/Federal Government environment
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of:
- Procure to Pay (P2P): Purchasing, Accounts Payable
- Prospect to Order (P2O): Project Billing, Project Costing, Project Management
- Order to Cash (O2C): Inventory, Accounts Receivable
- Budget to Report (B2R): Federal Administrator, General Ledger
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Proficient in productivity tools, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Desired:
- Experience with integration to Oracle E-Business Suite and /or legacy systems
- Experience in SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and troubleshooting
- Experience in supporting systems for Public Sector, Federal Civilian Government, and/or Department of Defense (DoD) customers
- Team player with the ability to adjust to a dynamic working environment that supports a government agency
- Strong written, verbal and listening skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
