Job Description:


The Opportunity:

You will serve as a key Project Manager within CACI’s Mission Support and Engineering Services group, acting as a primary liaison between CACI, subcontractors, vendors, and DoD stakeholders. In this role, you will drive project performance, communication, and technical accuracy while ensuring that all technical, financial, and schedule requirements are met.

This position requires a technically minded, detail oriented individual capable of interpreting fabrication and manufacturing drawings, understanding tolerance requirements for sensor and weapons systems, managing configuration control, and communicating engineering changes effectively with government engineers. You will ensure that all products and services delivered to the customer meet the highest standards of quality, traceability, and compliance.

You will also bring strong skills in material tracking, manufacturing quality control and acceptance requirements, logistics management including kitting, project and life cycle planning, and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities to support reporting, analysis, and schedule management.

Additionally, you will operate within a regulated defense industry environment, requiring familiarity with CMMC compliance practices, handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), understanding of ITAR requirements, and awareness of DoD security classification protocols to ensure all project activities align with federal security and data protection standards.

Responsibilities:

Project & Technical Management

  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with technical, financial, and schedule requirements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation; communicate tolerance variances and configuration changes to government engineers and internal teams.
  • Ensure technical performance of assigned projects while maintaining adherence to budget and schedule constraints.
  • Support development and refinement of ROM estimates in coordination with program management, finance, and procurement teams.
  • Manage kitting, packaging, shipment, and the tracked transportation of project deliverables, and coordinate source and DoD customer acceptance.


Quality, Traceability & Configuration Control

  • Maintain strict material traceability for all components, assemblies, and deliverables.
  • Oversee manufacturing quality control processes to ensure materials and products meet required standards.
  • Maintain configuration control and document control for all project related technical data.
  • Track and document materials, supplies, purchase dates, lead times, and cost data; provide monthly reports to the customer.


Coordination, Communication & Documentation

  • Serve as a primary liaison between CACI, subcontractors, vendors, and DoD customers.
  • Prepare, review, and track RFIs and submittals; distribute information to subcontractors and service providers.
  • Assist in preparing monthly project status reports.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on technical, schedule, and financial performance.
  • Support project close out activities, ensuring all documentation and deliverables are complete and accurate.


Vendor & Subcontractor Oversight

  • •Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance related to quality, scheduling, planning, and material delivery.
  • Ensure that materials, parts, and services are delivered on time and meet customer requirements.
  • Assist in developing justification write ups, sole source recommendations, and technical evaluations.


Other Duties

  • Perform additional project management and technical support tasks as assigned.
  • Conduct regular site visits to local vendors as required to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support acceptance, to include qualification and first article, at DoD customer location(s) as required (CONUS).

Qualifications:

Required:

  • SECRET clearance or above•
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent +5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical experience

Desired:

  • PMP certification

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$73,800 - $155,100
