About the Role:

CACI, INC. – FEDERAL is seeking a talented Senior SAP Operations Manager to join our innovative team. We have an exciting contract with a federal agency to support and maintain a critical SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that is foundational to the agency's mission.

Be a Leader: Take charge of managing the Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, and Financial functional areas, along with Application Development, Infrastructure Technology, and SAP Basis Administration.
Cutting-Edge Technology: Work with a public Cloud (AWS) hosted SAP Business Suite system, executing SAP Upgrades & Migrations for SAP Business Suite on HANA (and S/4HANA).
Collaborative Environment: Engage with a diverse team of Professional Service Providers, Solution Architects, Cloud Architects, Basis Administrators, Application Developers, Business Process Analysts, and Customer Service agents.
Customer-Centric: Directly interact with customers, program sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
Innovative Culture: Contribute to systems analysis, innovation, and process improvements in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
System Uptime & Performance: Ensure 24/7 availability and optimal performance of all SAP systems.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a talented team of SAP Basis administrators, operations specialists, and customer service support personnel.
Incident & Problem Management: Oversee incident management processes and lead root cause analysis for critical incidents.
Change & Release Management: Collaborate with development and project teams for smooth deployment of changes and upgrades.
Maintenance & Housekeeping: Plan and execute regular preventative maintenance activities and oversee backup and recovery strategies.
Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and maintain robust monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms.
Security & Compliance: Ensure system security adherence to government policies and regulatory requirements.
Capacity Planning & Optimization: Monitor resource utilization and propose infrastructure scaling solutions.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with SAP and third-party vendors for support, licensing, and professional services.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation and generate regular performance reports.
Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of new SAP technologies and industry trends to drive efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:

Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in SAP Basis administration and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of IT operations in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Proven experience with SAP deployments on cloud platforms or large on-premises SAP infrastructures.

Deep understanding of SAP system architecture and components.
Proficiency in managing SAP Basis administration tasks.
Strong knowledge of operating systems and virtualization technologies.

Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
Desired:
Master’s Degree in technical or business administration.
Experience working on Federal/Public sector SAP projects.
Program management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP).
ITIL Foundation or higher certification and/or ServiceNow system administrator certification.
SAP certification in a technical, functional, or process discipline.
Cloud infrastructure or security certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
