The Yoho General Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of store operations including leadership, supervisory, financial, maintenance, and administrative tasks. This position is onsite, located in Solsberry, IN.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in monitoring and maximizing retail budgets and product inventory, purchasing and sales
• Assist Director in staying informed of inventory pricing and adjust store pricing as needed (deli, grocery, tobacco, and fuel)
• Responsible for ensuring the proper execution of all cash handling policies including opening and closing procedures
• Responsible for mail/package collection and assuring on-site bills processed/paid
• Assist in managing daily accounting, bank deposits, change needs, and reporting
• Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance
• Supervise, train, and develop staff,writes and executes annual performance and wage reviews
• Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties as needed

• Planning and execution of daily specials and regular menu items
• Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures
• Model excellent customer service

• Must be comfortable and effective in a fast paced environment

Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a food service environment
• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience
• POS system experience
• Knowledge of accounting and cash control procedures

• Food Manager Certification required or willing to obtain within a designated time period
• IN UST Certification required or willing to obtain within a designated time period

• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
throughout various levels
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb stairs, as well as bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching
• Occasional climbing using a ladder
• Able to lift 20+ pounds frequently
• Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.
