Overview
Cook Polymer Technology is currently accepting applications for the 2026 Summer Intern Program for our Quality Engineer team at our Bloomington, IN manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for contributing to the initiatives of the Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering team.
Responsibilities
• Provide support to the other quality team members upon request and where reasonable
• Learn quickly about projects, project jargon, and project objectives
• Work with a mentor and/or other Qualit team members to define and complete tasks on time and with expected quality
• Complete documentation accurately, legibly, and timely
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Quality, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Preferred)
• Sophomore, Junior, Senior preferred
• Foundational understanding of quality systems and engineering principles
• Familiarity with ISO standards, FDA regulations, or GMP concepts preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work with multiple persons and the multiple priorities that occur when each person has different needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
