Overview
The Custodian at Cook Spencer is responsible to keep building and working environment clean.
Responsibilities
• Read, understand, and carry out written and oral instructions
• Trash removal
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean walls
• Dust various surfaces
• Deep clean work stations
• Provide legible and accurate documentation
• Complete quality work at acceptable department determined rates
• Commit to a minimum 40 hour work week
• Work effectively with limited supervision
• Work closely with co-workers.
• Work with chemicals such as cleaners and isopropyl alcohol
Qualifications
• Minimum 18 years of age
Physical Requirements:
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds continuously and up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Frequent repetitive motion
• Good eyesight, hand dexterity and attention to detail
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch; communicate
• Proper attire/clothing and Personal Protective Equipment /clothing, as required, within Controlled Production Areas
