  • Orchestrate complex, multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, product, legal, and business development to ensure successful execution and integration of partnerships.
  • Manage strategic planning and governance - establish the operational rigor for the partnerships, including executive-level business reviews and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting for key strategic partners.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and partnership models, inclusive of global activities, shaping GM’s approach to innovation and external collaboration.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and guide a high performing team of business development and partnerships professionals.
  • Champion GM behaviors, fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, inclusivity, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology partnerships and/or business development within automotive, technology, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and structure complex technology partnerships and alliances.
  • Deep expertise and technical fluency in the cloud and AI landscape, with knowledge of key players, offerings, and market trends. Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics, and/or AV experience is a plus.
  • High agency, can handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments. Ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Proven track record of building positive relationships and driving consensus internally across product, engineering, marketing, legal, finance, and more; proficiency driving alignment across complex business decisions with executive leadership.
