Position Summary

The Leadperson is responsible for leading the Kitting and Materials crew. This position will also assist the Supervisor in all areas of the department.

Organizational Relationship

This position reports directly to the Supervisor.

Accountabilities

· Coach, support, and train team members

· Ensure team members meet safety and productivity requirements

· Meet quality expectations by achieving quality goals

· Create attainable expectations for your team.

· Collaborate with support functions to solve problems. BE the solution.; Act as first line responsible for problem-solving linked to safety, quality, and efficiency

· Enter employee hours, non-control and transfer at the end of the shift or when the supervisor is not present

· Be knowledgeable of kitting and materials management

· Have great communication with team members so that they are aware of expectations

· Learn all aspects of the department’s operation, including filling in when other team members are absent

· Lead daily meetings with team members

· Attend daily production meetings

· Prior experience in manufacturing processes preferred
