Job Description
The Indiana University Foundation (IUF) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide support to the Vice President (VP) of Development and two Associate Vice Presidents (AVPs), Development. This role is responsible for ensuring that calendars, schedules, travel, budgets, and communications are seamlessly managed for all three leaders. As a proactive partner, the Executive Assistant anticipates needs, prepares leaders for success, and ensures the team is always a step ahead in advancing IUF’s mission.
As the primary point of contact for Bloomington campus development leadership, several Bloomington Lead Development Officers, and key university partners, this position requires a collaborative team player who thrives on building relationships and working across departments. The Executive Assistant will not only handle critical administrative functions but will also serve as a trusted resource who can adapt quickly, think strategically, and communicate effectively on behalf of leadership.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree is required.
- A minimum of 3 years in assistance role or similar combination of experience required; at the executive level is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a high volume, matrixed work environment preferred
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple demands and/or manage complex and competing priorities;
- Superb time management skills;
- Exercises good judgment and decision making;
- Use of discretion and maintenance of privacy, confidentiality or anonymity;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be proficient with proof reading documents such as proposals, correspondence, presentations.
Additional Information
This position is based out of our Bloomington, Indiana office and is a primarily onsite role. The compensation for this role is $52,000- $57,000 annually.
