| Position Summary | The Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) seeks a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a well-established, collaborative, and highly respected team dedicated to advancing pediatric ENT care across Indiana and beyond. We are seeking an experienced academic leader with a passion for clinical excellence, education, and research innovation. The successful candidate will help shape the future of pediatric otolaryngology the nation’s largest medical school. This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow a division with a strong foundation toward a clear vision for the future. Academic rank and track will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments Position Highlights • Clinical 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient • Academic: - Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows - Mentorship and leadership within the division • Research: - Opportunities for clinical and industry-sponsored trials - Access to bench lab research infrastructure • Collaborative Environment: - Work alongside a dedicated team of pediatric specialists and subspecialists at Riley Hospital for Children, one of the nation’s top-ranked children’s hospitals Our pediatric practice includes four fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologists and five Advanced Practice Providers. The clinical scope covers: - Aerodigestive and complex airway disorders (including a multidisciplinary aerodigestive clinic) - Sleep surgery - Head and neck masses and congenital malformations - Rhinology and craniofacial disorders - Laryngology and vascular anomalies - Otology, including a well-established cochlear implant program IUSM is committed to being a welcoming campus community and we seek candidates whose research, teaching, and community engagement efforts contribute to robust learning and working environments for all students, staff, and faculty. | Basic Qualifications | Qualifications • MD or equivalent terminal degree • Board Certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery • Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology • Demonstrated leadership experience in academic medicine • Commitment to excellence in clinical care, education, and research |
