Job Description
As a Donor Experience Officer, you’ll be at the center of IU Athletics’ momentum during an electrifying season of Hoosier football and growing fan excitement. You’ll be fully integrated with the IU Athletics Department to engage passionate supporters and strengthen their connection to the programs they love. Through personalized outreach, digital engagement, and Varsity Club initiatives like priority points and exclusive game-day experiences, you’ll help fuel scholarships, facilities, and championship-level support for student-athletes across all 24 varsity sports.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage 500–1,000 IU Athletics donors through personalized outreach and storytelling, executing 30+ personalized touchpoints daily via video, email, and phone
- Work alongside the athletic department, partner with Varsity Club, and an Individual Giving Officer to align with the IU Foundation and IU Athletics goals.
- Leverage tools like EverTrue Signal, and digital engagement platforms to manage your donor pipeline
- Use analytics to prioritize outreach and maximize donor engagement
Qualifications
- You must be able to regularly be in Bloomington, IN including working on game-days to support donor events
- A deep knowledge of the collegiate athletics landscape is required to be successful
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in intercollegiate athletics strongly preferred
- 2+ years in sales, marketing, fundraising, or call center preferred
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience with tools like EverTrue Signal, , and other digital engagement platforms
- Ability to manage high-volume outreach and prioritize donor engagement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Additional Information
We anticipate this will be a highly sought after role and will begin conducting interviews immediately. The compensation range for this position is $50,000- $53,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
