| Position Summary | Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for a clinical track faculty position at the Indiana University Fort Wayne campus. The person is responsible for teaching clinical and didactic courses in the undergraduate program. Overall, the candidate’s responsibilities include contributing to IUSON’s teaching, and service missions. 1. The candidate is expected to engage in high-quality teaching. The candidate will leverage teaching strategies to create learning spaces as well as to prepare our graduates to enter and lead in an increasingly complex world. 2. The candidate is expected to engage in scholarly activities. 3. The candidate is expected to participate in service at the school, campus, community, and professional levels. |
| Basic Qualifications | Qualified applicants must hold a master’s degree in nursing with a doctorate and recent clinical and teaching experience. Candidates must have a doctorate (DNP or PhD) at the time of appointment (08/01/2026). Relevant recent clinical and teaching experience in the field required. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience. Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in the areas of: medical/surgical, pediatric, behavioral health, leadership, community, or obstetric nursing. |
