Position Summary
The Department of Physic at Indiana University invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics. Applications from candidates with experience in low-dimensional quantum matter, including quantum Hall systems, van der Waals and moiré materials, cavity quantum materials, and/or quantum geometry and topology are particularly welcome.

The successful applicant will be joining a vibrant department, with active theoretical and experimental research in condensed matter and AMO physics, as well as correlated condensed matter, quantum materials, driven/dissipative systems, and quantum information and simulation. The position is for one year, renewable annually contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding, with a competitive salary and benefits package, and would begin July 1, 2026 (start date is negotiable).
