| Position Summary | Faculty Posting for Evansville MLS Program The Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Division in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine is recruiting for a faculty position in Evansville, Indiana. The MLS Division’s ideal candidate is a Generalist with experience working as an MLS in a clinical laboratory as chemist and immunohematologist. However, other areas of expertise or specialization will be considered (Clinical Chemist with experience working as an MLS in a clinical laboratory, Immunohematologist with experience in a clinical or reference blood bank laboratory, or Medical Microbiologist with experience in clinical bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, serology, and/or virology laboratories). The MLS program started in 1936 and has been operating continuously in Indianapolis since its inception. The program expanded in August 2024 with the launch of a second location at the IU School of Medicine’s campus in Evansville, Indiana. The program maintains full accreditation through NAACLS (National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science). Responsibilities:
