The Graduate Recruitment and Admissions Operations Assistant supports the daily operations of the Luddy Graduate Recruitment and Admissions Office by assisting with recruitment initiatives, admissions communications, customer service, data reporting, and process improvement. This position provides an excellent opportunity for student workers to gain hands-on experience in enrollment management, customer relationship management (CRM), data analytics, and project coordination to support graduate enrollment.
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service by responding to prospective student inquiries by phone, email, and in person while directing questions to appropriate staff as needed.
- Monitor CRM data quality and recommend improvements to existing processing.
- Support director by preparing reports for meetings and strategic planning.
- Generate recruitment, admissions, and enrollment reports.
- Monitor application trends and recruitment metrics.
- Assist with dashboard development and data visualization.
- Monitor email workflow, communication campaigns and verify that communications are functioning properly.
- Provide accurate information regarding graduate admissions requirements, application processes, deadlines, academic programs, and recruitment events for prospective students.
- Participate in office training and professional development opportunities to gain knowledge in admissions policies, customer service, and recruitment best practices.
- Represent the Graduate Recruitment and Admissions Office in a professional, courteous, and student-center manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned that support the mission and goals of the Graduate Recruitment and Admissions Office.
EDUCATION
Required
- Currently enrolled in a master's degree program with the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering
SKILLS
Required
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Interest in data analytics, information systems, project management, higher education administration, or technology solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred
- Experience with CRM systems, databases, or workflow automation
- Microsoft Office
- CRM platforms
- Microsoft Teams and Zoom
This position is only eligible to graduate-level work-study students.
$18.00 per hour
