Department Specific Responsibilities

  • Manages strategic projects for teams in the Kelley Undergraduate Program including the International Programs team and Business Honors.
  • Ability to pivot between student-facing student programming and administrative support to reinforce the experiential learning capacity of the student experience.
  • Supports the Global Business Immersion program by managing aspects of short-term study abroad programs.
  • Interfaces directly with students and staff members.
  • Advises students on program details.
  • Offers guidance on visa applications.
  • Manages student data and group travel programming details.
  • Develops project plans, tracks progress, and provides regular updates to team leadership.
  • Leads on-campus event planning and promotion for monthly student events, ensuring high-impact engagement within the program.
  • Collects and organizes content for communicating with target groups, as well as assists with program application reviews and various data-driven projects to measure and evaluate effectiveness of student programs against projected outcomes.

General Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements programs and initiatives geared at enhancing and reinforcing the academic engagement and experiential learning capacity of the student experience. Projects programming outcomes at the program, department/division, or campus level.
  • Interfaces directly with students, attending student programming events and gathering satisfaction feedback from student participants to implement into future student programming initiatives and objectives.
  • Collaborates with staff in their own department and other departments, as well as academic and campus leaders, on shared student programming goals, often coordinating funding to sponsor student programs.
  • Measures and evaluates effectiveness of student programs against projected outcomes; may prepare reports on impact to students and budget and may present to stakeholders on effectiveness and to secure funding for initiatives moving forward.
  • May serve on committees and perform student programming research across the field of higher education and at peer institutions to identify and recommend best practices.
  • Plans and coordinates communications for student programming initiatives to ensure student participation and inclusion.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in education, social work, public affairs, counseling, business, or related field.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in higher education student affairs or related field.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. It requires the ability to move objects and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires attending and managing events which may include being in one place for several hours. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Due to the nature of student programming, this position requires the ability to work periodic evenings and weekends. The role will travel will student groups.
