Position Summary
The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery is seeking applicants for a clinical track faculty position in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. Candidates must have completed, or be expected to complete prior to the start of employment, an American Head and Neck Society (AHNS)-accredited Head and Neck Surgical Oncology fellowship with specialized training in microvascular reconstruction. Candidates must also be board eligible or board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to outstanding patient care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and teaching.
The successful candidate will participate in a busy head and neck surgical oncology practice and contribute to the department’s missions of clinical excellence, education, and scholarship. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care within an established and robust multidisciplinary program focused on the management of patients with complex head and neck cancers. In addition to clinical duties, the successful candidate will teach surgical residents, medical students, and a head and neck surgical fellow within an institution committed to educational excellence. Participation in scholarly and academic activities is encouraged and supported.

Basic Qualifications
Doctoral or terminal degree. Completion of an American Head and Neck Society (AHNS)-accredited Head and Neck Surgical Oncology fellowship, including specialized training in microvascular reconstruction, is required. Candidates who are currently completing fellowship training and are expected to finish before the start of employment will also be considered. Must be board eligible or board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
