The IU Human Biology Program is a rapidly growing academic unit with almost 1000 students that offers BS, BA, and minor degrees. It is one of the largest and fastest growing majors on campus. Much of this success is due to IU Human Biology’s innovative educational practices, including interdisciplinary team teaching and active student research, that promote a holistic approach to scientific issues as they relate to the biology of humans. Current faculty within the program share appointments with numerous academic departments across the College of Arts and Sciences, including Anthropology, Biology, Geography, History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine, and Psychological and Brain Sciences. We encourage applicants from these disciplines and adjacent fields to apply.
