This role involves managing pacemaker devices within the practice, reviewing remote transmissions, and triaging patient concerns. The RN should have strong rhythm interpretation skills, work well both independently and collaboratively, and possess excellent communication abilities with both patients and providers. Critical thinking and troubleshooting are essential. The position may require occasional travel to outreach locations such as Bedford and Rogers to support the device clinic, with responsibilities that include direct patient care and processing remote device downloads.

Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts

No weekends! No holidays!

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
