Position: Clinical Educator - OB Outreach

Shift: PRN Evening and Weekends

The Clinical Educator plans, facilitates, implements, and evaluates training programs for clinical team members. They ensure that clinical instruction is properly coordinated, providing team members with adequate medical and technical education, exposure, and hands-on experience in their professional discipline. This role supports the development of clinical competencies and promotes continuous learning within the organization.

Position Overview:

The Clinical Educator plays a vital role in enhancing clinical staff skills and knowledge through effective training and education initiatives. By coordinating and delivering targeted instruction, the educator ensures staff are prepared to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care. The role involves collaboration with clinical leadership, ongoing assessment of training effectiveness, and fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs for clinical staff.

• Coordinate clinical instruction to ensure staff receive appropriate education, exposure, and hands-on experience.

• Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify training needs and tailor educational activities accordingly.

• Promote best practices, evidence-based care, and ongoing professional development.

• Monitor training effectiveness and adjust programs to meet evolving clinical standards.

• Support staff development initiatives to improve competency and confidence in clinical skills.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education:

- Associate's Degree required.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred.

• Experience:

- 3-5 years of relevant clinical and training experience.

• Licensure & Certifications:

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

- Additional advanced life support certifications may be required per department policies.
