PDM – CNC Machinist Job Overview: Some light duty lifting required and using a hoist to install vises, jigs, fixtures, and heavy work pieces onto the mill or lathe for machining. Use precision measuring equipment with both hands to accurately machine parts. Operating the controls of the mill or lathe with both hands to remove material from parts in conjunction with the specs and accuracy required for specific job. Ability to sufficiently operate computer systems to access instructions/specs and produce a quality product. Check lubricating fluid and fill as necessary. Clean/maintain mill, lathe and work area as needed and at the end of each shift. Prior Lathe or Milling experience preferred.
