Routing Specialist – National Branch OperationsJob Summary: As a Routing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our nationwide network of 53 branch locations by designing efficient final mile delivery and pickup routes for our box truck fleet. This position directly impacts on our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers while operating efficiently and responsibly.As an Associate Owner with JASPER, you will collaborate closely with fellow routing team members and Operations Managers across the country to develop routing solutions that balance customer commitments, cost management, and operational excellence. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities): Create and optimize daily final mile delivery and pickup routes across our national branch networkPartner with Operations Managers at each location to align routing plans with local needs, volume, and resourcesContinuously evaluate routes to improve efficiency, reduce miles, and control transportation costs while maintaining high service levelsAnalyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement in routing, delivery timing, and overall network efficiencyAdjust routing plans as needed to respond to changes in demand, weather, or operational challengesEnsure routes are built with safety, compliance, and company standards in mindCommunicate routing expectations clearly with operations teams to support execution at the branch levelCollaborate with fellow Associate Owners to share best practices and drive continuous improvement across the routing team What It Takes (Qualifications) High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.Experience in routing, logistics, transportation planning, or a related field preferred but not required.Strong computer skills are a must.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across locations and departments What Makes You Successful: Ownership Mindset: Takes pride in delivering results that support fellow Associate Owners and our customersTeam-First Approach: Works collaboratively across branches and functionsContinuous Improvement: Always looking for ways to improve efficiency and performanceCustomer Commitment: Understands the impact routing decisions have on the customer experienceAdaptability: Responds quickly and effectively to changing business needs Why JASPER: Be part of a 100% Associate Owner company where your contributions make a real impactWork with a nationwide team committed to operational excellence and customer satisfactionOpportunity to influence and improve a critical part of our businessA culture built on teamwork, accountability, and pride in our work
