In this role, you’ll use virtual reality tools to model system engineering products while working closely with Navy Government customers and contractors at Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana.
💼What You’ll Do
- Apply Computer Science knowledge to create data visualization and modeling solutions.
- Design, develop and create virtual reality simulations to analyze and optimize complex systems engineering problems.
- Create 3D models and environments for analysis.
- Apply basic knowledge as a System Administrator to handle maintenance and basic troubleshooting of hardware and software components to maintain optimal performance and security.
🧠 What You Bring
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant field (e.g., Information Management, Engineering, or related technical discipline) and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in data management, logistics, supply chain, or lifecycle support.
- Strong knowledge of modeling and simulation as it applies to technology maturation and systems engineering.
- Basic proficiency with System Administration tools and responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex modeling and simulations concepts clearly.
- An active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance or have held one within the past two years.
- Up to 20% travel may be required.
