Job Description

Prometheus Energetics is seeking an experienced Project Manager to facilitate all aspects of the knowledge transfer process at its new Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) manufacturing facility in the Bloomfield, Indiana area.

The Project Manager – Knowledge Transfer position is an exciting opportunity that encompasses dimensions of Project Management and leadership with knowledge of Systems Development, Engineering, and Integration. The successful candidate will liaise directly with members of both Rafael and Prometheus Energetics, including engineering, operations, quality, finance, program management, and business development.

Experience And Skills

  • Lead end-to-end knowledge transfer projects across departments.
  • Identify critical roles, subject matter experts (SMEs), and at-risk knowledge areas.
  • Build project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and deliverables for knowledge transition initiatives.
  • Establish documentation standards and best practices.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions; prepare agendas and collect required materials in coordination with area leads and SMEs.
  • Document session outcomes, capture process details, system information, decisions, and operational insights; maintain session notes and assigned tasks.
  • Support post-transition activities by ensuring documentation completeness, organizing handoff materials, and providing coordination for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with functional / resource managers to allocate staff resources and identify resource needs.
  • Track progress against transition plans and the master schedule; identify variances and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Maintain and update knowledge transfer repository content, version control, and access permissions per policies.
  • Properly manage classified and proprietary information.
  • Oversee creation of process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Standardize templates and repositories for organizational use.
  • Communicate project updates and status to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate effectiveness or knowledge transfer efforts.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor of Science engineering degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • U.S. or dual Citizenship is required
  • Experience with MS Project application or other scheduling/project management applications.
  • Strong teaming, leadership, organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Be a strong team player.
  • Domestic and International travel as necessary to attend conferences and customer meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Engineering
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Fluency in both English and Hebrew
