Success requires strong executive presence, deep understanding of AI solution value drivers, experience operating in regulated environments, and a proven ability to build durable relationships across business development, service delivery, product engineering, and external partners. This role directly supports enterprise AI adoption, workforce AI proficiency, and business strategy alignment goals for Ops.AI.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Pipeline & Revenue Acceleration: Drive measurable pipeline growth and conversion by leading discovery workshops, shaping solution narratives, and aligning stakeholder value cases, pricing assumptions, and deliverable outcomes with customer priorities.
  • Strategic Alliances & Partner Ecosystem: Build and govern strategic alliances with hyper-scalers, technology vendors, and research partners to strengthen delivery capability, accelerate innovation, and expand addressable market.
  • Multi-industry Thought Leadership: Serve as a visible, credible AI evangelist; representing CDAO/Ops.AI in industry forums, client executive briefings, and internal leadership discussions; translate technical capabilities into mission and business outcomes.
  • Customer-Centered Solution Shaping: Lead the translation of customer problems into actionable solution requirements (business, functional, non-functional, etc.), including adoption needs, data readiness, security/compliance constraints, and success metrics.
  • Outcome Measurement & Value Realization: Partner with delivery leaders to define and track outcome metrics (mission impact, cycle-time reduction, throughput enhancement, risk reduction, user adoption, etc.) demonstrating business value post-deployment.
  • Responsible AI & Risk Awareness: Ensure engagement strategies incorporate responsible AI expectations and align with security/compliance constraints appropriate for DoD, IC and FedCiv missions (secure environments, regulated data, and AI lifecycle controls, etc.).

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of experience in business engagement, solution consulting, growth strategy, capture, or client-facing technical leadership roles (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree per equivalency guidelines).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solution strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Proven experience influencing and advising executive stakeholders (internal and external), including C-level leadership.
