The Leidos Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is a new, high-growth organization at the center of the company's technology strategy. We are seeking a passionate and creative AI Engagement & Enablement Specialist to join our Operational AI (Ops.AI) division. This role is essential for fostering an AI-savvy culture across the enterprise by building a vibrant community and driving the adoption of our AI tools and capabilities.

As an AI Engagement & Enablement Specialist, you will be a key evangelist for our human-centered AI philosophy. You will be responsible for executing engagement campaigns, creating compelling content, and organizing events that build excitement and empower our workforce to leverage AI responsibly. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a culture of innovation and accelerate the business impact of AI at Leidos.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engagement Campaign Execution: Execute targeted campaigns to build a vibrant, AI-fluent culture, translating strategic goals into engaging initiatives for employees.
  • Content Creation & Enablement: Design and create compelling content, including blog/vlog posts, presentations, and internal communications, to promote the value and responsible use of AI.
  • Community Building & Event Management: Organize, facilitate, and manage events, workshops, and other initiatives to enhance AI awareness, build a community of practice, and foster collaboration across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to champion AI initiatives and gather feedback to ensure our programs meet the needs of the workforce.
  • Feedback & Impact Tracking: Assist in tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of engagement initiatives using feedback and performance metrics to help measure cultural impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, coupled with 2+ years of relevant experience in community management, marketing, or corporate communications.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental AI concepts and their applications in a business context.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create clear and engaging content.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing events (virtual or in-person) and managing community engagement initiatives.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a technology-driven organization or a government contracting environment.
  • A strong passion for artificial intelligence and its transformative potential.
  • Familiarity with internal communications strategies and employee engagement programs.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital content creation tools.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.

At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.”

If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You’ll fit right in.
