Leidos is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to support material planning and procurement coordination on a large GSA-administered multi-tenant contract. This position partners closely with Project Management to develop and execute material acquisition strategies, including defining requirements, conducting vendor market research and cost comparisons, and preparing procurement request documentation. The role manages customer compliance through the Request to Initiate Purchase (RIP) process, coordinates with assigned corporate Procurement personnel for purchase order execution, and tracks materials through shipping, receipt, ingest, and final property disposition. This position is remote and will require travel to the Washington D.C. to the customers site as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop FAR-compliant material procurement strategies for multiple diverse government projects in the Decision Advantage business area.
  • Manage end-to-end purchasing lifecycle: solicitation, source selection, negotiation, award, modifications, receipt acceptance, and closeout.
  • Implement Leidos corporate purchasing policies and tools (e.g., Costpoint, Ivalua), including Restricted Supplier and suspect counterfeit parts monitoring and compliance.
  • Conduct market research, price-reasonableness analyses, and prepare acquisition documentation (e.g., SSJ, RIP).
  • Maintain and utilize a P-Card for appropriate purchases within corporate and customer policies.
  • Prepare and Support materials procurement and disposition audits assessing both internal and external compliance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related field and 5 or more years relevant experience, additional directly experience can substitute for degree requirement.
  • Experience with materials procurement on US government contracts, deep knowledge of FAR clauses pertaining to procurement and subcontracting.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and defending procurement documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP tools.
  • Proficent with Microsoft Office, including Excel and SharePoint.
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance if needed.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a GSA administrated multi-tenant project.
  • Experience with Leidos corporate procurement systems and policies.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
