Leidos Corporate Information Security is seeking a Cybersecurity Platform Intern to support enterprise security initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience working in a large-scale cybersecurity environment across identity, network, and data protection domains.
The selected candidate will contribute to real-world security projects focused on improving visibility, strengthening access controls, and enhancing detection capabilities. Project assignments may include identity security analytics, data protection and access governance, or network and third-party connectivity analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete a work package assignment that helps improve the underlying cyber security for the Leidos enterprise.
- Analyze security data from enterprise tools (e.g., log platforms, identity systems, cloud services)
- Assist in building dashboards and reports to improve security visibility
- Document system configurations, access controls, and security processes
- Identify potential risks, gaps, or improvement opportunities
- Support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and analysis efforts
- Present findings in clear, concise written summaries
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- US citizenship required
- Basic understanding of networking and/or cybersecurity concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools or concepts (e.g., logging platforms, identity systems, cloud security)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with data analysis or visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Interest in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or Zero Trust architecture
- Coding experience with Python or other scripting languages

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
