The Leidos DoD Enterprise and Cyber Operations (DECO) division of the Digital Modernization Sector / DoD Defense Agencies IT Business Area has an opportunity for a Regulatory Document Intern to support existing and growth opportunities within the division. The intern will work virtually with primarily a US Eastern and Central time focus, and a worldwide team. The Leidos DECO Division is both established and growing. Our DECO Program Operations team provides the functional support for this $600M+ annual and growing organization. Current task orders are under the Global Services Management-Operations II (GSM-O II) IDIQ and the Systems Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) IDIQ contract vehicles.
As an intern, you will assist the Process Operations team in supporting document management and contract deliverables (CDRLs) across GSM-O II and other division programs. This role offers exposure to real-world program operations, government contracting processes, and cross-functional collaboration in a professional environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with tracking and organizing contract deliverables (CDRLs).
- Support the scheduling and coordination of document submissions.
- Help prepare, review, and format reports and deliverables for submission.
- Participate in team meetings and assist with the documentation of action items.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timelines and requirements are understood.
- Maintain organized records of all documentation and delivery statuses.
- Support process improvement efforts and documentation standardization.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Business, English, Communications, Information Systems, or related field preferred).
- US citizenship required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in government contracting or program operations.
- Experience with academic or internship-based report writing or documentation.
- Familiarity with project coordination or administrative support tasks.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.

Pay Range:
