Leidos Health and Services Sector currently has an opening for a Regional Outreach Assistant Coordinator to work remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Military OneSource mission. The Military OneSource Program provides 24/7 support services for military members and their families, similar to a commercial Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This program provides a broad array of information, resources, education, referrals, and counseling to about 4.7 million participants which includes military service members, their families, and eligible civilians at locations worldwide. The Military OneSource program serves as a “one source” for resource and information encompassing a comprehensive support system.
The Regional Outreach Assistant Coordinator leads, directs, and manages event support activities provided by Field Consultants and Outreach Assistants within their assigned region.
This role:
Receives and triages Program Manager-approved event requests submitted through BOSS and assigns Outreach Assistant resources to support on-demand event requirements.
lans, manages, and coordinates the workflow and scheduling of Field Consultants and Outreach Assistants to optimize event coverage while minimizing travel expenses.
Oversees the coordination, planning, and preparation of personnel resources responsible for operating resource tables, distributing materials, answering program-related questions, and delivering Government-approved presentations.
Assesses and evaluates the need for briefing materials, presentations, and informational packages to ensure relevance and applicability to event participants.
Works closely with the Content Developer and Coordinator to ensure timely preparation of content and materials for review and approval by the Program Manager prior to event delivery.
Coordinates directly with Government customers and military installation representatives to ensure successful execution of event support activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead, direct, and manage event support activities provided by Field Consultants and Outreach Assistants within the assigned region.

Plan, manage, and coordinate workflow and scheduling of Field Consultants and Outreach Assistants to optimize coverage while minimizing travel costs.
Oversee the preparation and deployment of personnel to operate resource tables, distribute materials, answer program-related questions, and deliver Government-approved presentations.
Assess and evaluate briefing materials, presentations, and informational packages to ensure relevance and applicability for event participants.
Coordinate with the Content Developer and Coordinator to ensure timely preparation and approval of event materials prior to delivery.
Ensure all materials and presentations receive required review and approval from the Program Manager before events.
Coordinate directly with Government customers and military installation representatives to ensure successful execution of event support activities.
Monitor event execution and provide feedback to improve outreach processes, materials, and delivery effectiveness.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Minimum of two years of experience planning and executing travel and resource coordination to support on-demand events.
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills and knowledge of military lifestyle and culture, as well as familiarity with mental health and counseling support programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as web-based research and electronic documentation systems.
Ability to coordinate with Government and military installation stakeholders professionally and effectively.
U.S. citizenship and fluency in English required.
Ability to successfully pass criminal history, fingerprint background checks, and credential verification required.
Ability to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required. Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms.
This position requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from, as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home.) Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or wireless ISP is not acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Military spouse, military affiliation, and/or experience in the military community is highly desirable.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
