Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Director of Operations to join our team in Crane, IN. This position requires four days per week in the office; one day negotiable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with superiors to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals

  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress

  • Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback

  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements

  • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction

  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability

  • Manage relationships/agreements with the Government and external partners/vendors

  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience

  • Proven experience as a Director of Operations or equivalent position

  • Solid understanding of understanding of Government and Defense Market Trends and technical direction of the client

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

  • Outstanding communication and people skills

  • In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)

  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,700-$185,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
