MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented, Operations Manager to join our vehicle sustainment team. This is a remote position. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Travel 25% to worksites in various locations, including the United States, Europe, and the Pacific Region.
Formulating and implementing operations policies.
Managing Daily operations and maintenance activities.
Planning and optimizing the use of materials and human resources.
Collaborating with functional area leads on personnel and maintenance management.
Use LogMASTRE as required
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

9+ years of qualified experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Must have experience as operations manager within the automotive or defense industry.
Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
Budget development and oversight experience.
Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices.
Basic IT skills (databases, MS Office, etc.) and working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
Must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with a current/active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferred.
Prior training or experience on Ground Mobility Vehicle 1.1 (GMV 1.1).
Prior training or experience Non – Standard Commercial Vehicles (NSCV) i.e. Toyota, Polaris.
Prior training on the CROWS Weapon Station.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
The projected compensation range for this position is $125,900.00-$198,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
