MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts using CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Altium

  • Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and system-level testing to ensure electrical performance, safety, and regulatory compliance

  • Select components, design embedded systems with microcontrollers and sensors, and troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic issues across development phases

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and systems teams to integrate and optimize electrical designs

  • Lead and contribute to product development initiatives, manage project timelines and resources, and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices

  • Document design specifications, test results, and technical procedures clearly while mentoring junior engineers and participating in design reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design and development

  • Experience and understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, power systems, and control systems

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, IEC, IEEE)

  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Experience supporting government programs

  • Proficiency in using electrical CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, Fusion 360, SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN Software, and ETAP). Experience with IT systems and cloud-based technologies.

  • Experience with power electronics design (e.g., DC-DC converters, power supplies)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a X security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
