MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager/Application Developer to support and drive several critical work streams within a major System Modernization Project. This role offers the opportunity to manage essential phases of modernization while engaging with a broad community of stakeholders. You will lead testing efforts, integration strategies, and planning activities to ensure successful and timely execution. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading project management efforts across multiple critical work streams tied to a high-visibility system modernization initiative
  • Serving as liaison between the development team, functional user community, and test teams, ensuring clear and effective communication across all groups
  • Driving planning and scheduling activities to align with tight deadlines and prevent costly delays
  • Managing and coordinating all aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, remediation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Supporting integration of Content Management Systems with legacy platforms, ensuring compatibility and functional cohesion
  • Applying deep functional knowledge of commercial retail systems to shape solution design and implementation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet defined business needs and performance expectations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in project management or software development within large-scale modernization projects
  • Proven expertise in Azure Cloud environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
  • Hands-on experience organizing and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems and their integration with legacy systems
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and deadline management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Experience in agile and/or hybrid development environments
  • Background in software development with ability to contribute to technical discussions
  • Understanding of system architecture and enterprise IT transformation

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $103,800.00-$173,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
