MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Telecommunications Equipment Installer and Repairer to join our CASTLE-NET Program team. This is a remote position.
Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation’s toughest challenges.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing the setup, configuration, maintenance, and support of video conferencing systems while ensuring all video infrastructure components conform to standardized setups and provide redundancy.
Installing and configuring video endpoints, providing virtual instruction to users, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and records of system configurations.
Providing technical and management leadership on major tasks, establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Troubleshooting complex technical issues to deliver world-class IT services and responsive, dependable customer support.
Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements and exceed the expectations of USACE end-users.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Information Technology or Telecommunications with 8+ years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and repair.
Previous training and experience with video conferencing systems such as Cisco WebEx, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
Proven experience installing and configuring video endpoints, troubleshooting, and providing high-level technical support.
Proficiency in network protocols and video conferencing tools with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Must hold and maintain an 8140 IAT Level II compliant certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP) upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and maintains currency with industry trends and best practices.
Familiarity with the USACE IT environment, regulatory requirements, and data security, best practices are preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
An active Secret security clearance is required prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,200.00-$164,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
