MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Sr. Laser System Program Analyst to join our team. This is a fully remote position.
As a Sr. Laser System Program Analyst, you will possess broad experience in all aspects of the theory & practice of high energy laser (HEL) systems engineering, in order to support multiple projects. You must be self-motivated and work with little management supervision. The ability to clearly communicate technical information in written reports & briefings is highly desired.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
You will be involved with HEL system technology and beam control, including laser safety, thermal management of the laser and beam train, and atmospheric propagation.
You will be familiar with performance testing of integrated HEL systems both in laboratory and outdoor environments.
You will be able to perform system engineering of directed energy system programs. This includes modelling, simulation and analysis, requirements analysis, and system and subsystem specification generation.
You will interact with Government and Industry DE professionals in the performance of these duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering field or 4 additional years of direct experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
5+ years of experience with high-energy laser systems, including outdoor test coordination, schedule programming, and safety requirements.
3+ years of experience in project management or technical direction of technology development programs.
Familiarity with on-going US DoD Directed Energy weapon development programs.

The projected compensation range for this position is $137,100.00-$244,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
