ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Program Manager to join our team. This is a 100% Remote position supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

At ManTech, we are protecting the nation’s infrastructure and securing the mission-critical systems of the U.S. Government. We provide comprehensive program management, strategic oversight, and agile delivery solutions for large-scale federal initiatives.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will serve as a Strategic Leader and Mission Partner. You will move beyond day-to-day oversight to manage the lifecycle of complex, multi-task projects. You are the "expert’s expert" guiding the program’s technical strategy, managing high-stakes stakeholder relationships, and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of contractors and subcontractors. You will drive excellence by defining work standards, enforcing quality assurance, and ensuring the delivery of measurable ROI to our federal customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Program Oversight: Plan, staff, budget, and direct one or more high-priority projects; ensure the timely delivery of contractual commitments while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance management.
  • Business Value & ROI Advocacy: Lead the gathering of pre- and post-implementation facts to document Business Cases; obtain customer validation for outcomes achieved and translate technical milestones into tangible ROI for leadership reporting.
  • Leadership & Team Mentorship: Own internal team development; act as a coach, mentor, and teacher to project staff while formulating and enforcing work standards and organizational goals across contractor and subcontractor personnel.
  • Stakeholder & Risk Management: Effectively coordinate risks and opportunities with executive leadership; serve as the primary communicator for policies, purposes, and goals to both subordinates and customer stakeholders.
  • Contractual & Financial Stewardship: Manage contract performance, scope matters, and staffing levels; oversee the creation, quality assurance, and timely submission of all client-facing deliverables while managing program growth opportunities.
  • Agile Governance: Leverage deep knowledge of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to prepare and update project schedules, establish deadlines, and report status/outcomes using modern tools like Jira, DevOps, and MS Project.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated capability in the overall management of multitask projects, specifically managing federal customers and large, demanding initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • PMP certification (Required).
  • Advanced experience in MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile projects and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong client-facing presentation and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse mix of project team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Professional).
  • Knowledge of OneStream or SaaS implementation experience.
  • Understanding of Government budgeting processes and PPBE.
  • Proven track record in documenting Past Performance write-ups and identifying program growth opportunities.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $137,100.00-$244,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
