MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP Data Services Developer to join our team. This is a remote position.

The SAP Data Services Developer is responsible for extracting data from various systems, transforming and cleansing it, and loading it into target databases or SAP S/4HANA environments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Extracting data from various systems, transforming and cleansing it, and loading it into target databases or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • ETL Development: Create complex data flows, batch jobs, and real-time jobs using the drag-and-drop Data Services Designer; developing and maintaining data integration workflows, data mappings, and transformations Data Quality: Implement data cleansing, profiling, and validation routines to maintain data integrity across the enterprise.
  • System Integration: Connect diverse non-SAP and SAP databases, data warehouses, and applications; ensuring a seamless integration of data with other systems and applications
  • Data Migration: Oversee technical data migration to newer SAP environments, such as S/4HANA migrations; performing data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity
  • Optimizing SAP data services jobs for better performance and scalability
  • Collaborating with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Participate in quality management tasks, such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents, and code reviews

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, 2 years ABAP with emphasis on FI (AR/AP/GL/FM), SMART Forms, and SAP scripts experience.
  • Experience with SAP BODS, SQL Scripting, Data Governance
  • Experience with Data Integration, Data Quality & Cleansing, Data Profiling, Text Data Processing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Designer experience with intuitive user interface where developers build data transformation workflows.
  • Repository experience using central database storing metadata, system rules, and transformation logic.
  • Job Server & Engineering experience processing environment that executes data flows and optimizes performance by pushing operations to source/target databases.
  • Management Console experience using a web-based tool for scheduling, executing, monitoring, and administering data jobs.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability and undergo a Tier 2 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

The projected compensation range for this position is $94,800.00-$157,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
