Schedule: Supplemental/part-time hours from 7:30am to 4pm. On call weekends/no holidays.
Job Summary
Provides compassionate service and respects the personal dignity of patients, public, and co-workers in a spirit of cooperation. Performs nutrition intervention to/or for an assigned patient caseload and develops therapeutic diets and nutrition supplements that will provide maximum nutritional support during specific disease/illness processes. Educates and counsels patients and their families in all aspects of nutritional care, in order to promote an understanding and acceptance of dietary restrictions, and to encourage continued cooperation and maintenance of nutritional standards during post-hospitalization. Reports to the Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
Degree/Licenses
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an approved internship or C.D.P. program.
- Credentialed by American Dietetic Association or registry eligible.
