Job Overview:
Operates and troubleshoots EKG monitoring equipment and interprets cardiac rhythms including EKG dysrhythmias.
High School student, diploma, or equivalent required
Four to six weeks orientation with preceptor. Basic rhythm interpretation skills preferred or must complete and pass dysrhythmia course within the orientation period. Healthcare provider CPR course is required within 30 days of hire. Previous experience working with EKG monitoring equipment preferred. Shifts vary, including occasional weekend and holidays shifts. Excellent learning opportunity for nursing or other healthcare students!
